Hobbiton is located in the town of Matamata in the Waikato region of the North Island of New Zealand. In 1999, it was filmed for the film “The Lord of the Rings.”
There are 44 Hobbit caves in Hobbit Village, which reproduces the wonders of Middle-earth in The Lord of the Rings. Each cave house has a unique design and is decorated brightly.
